Aerosoles introduces new interactive shopping format

Global women’s footwear brand Aerosoles is transitioning to digital format for its interactive catalog. Allowing its consumers a new innovative way to shop, the catalog also acts as a catalyst for the brand to become more environmentally friendly.

The New Jersey-based company has chosen this move in order to create a more convenient, dynamic way for consumers to shop. The digital platform launched recently utilizing the brand's performance technologies and engaging its products aimed at women. "Every page has constant motion and will be dynamically refreshed with products that make her feel, smarter, sexier, confident, and inspired for every occasion," said vice president of consumer experience and creative sciences Brenden Kennedy said in a statement.The online catalog will allow women to shop their products as well as make the shift from traditional print to digital. For every online purchase during this month, Aerosoles is also donating a pair of shoes (up to 50,000 dollars in retail value) in partnership with Soles4Soles, a nonprofit enterprise that fights poverty through shoe and clothing distribution. This is a way for the company to also promote paperless routes and move forward in a digital motion.

The international footwear company is available in over 40 countries around the world. The brand offers high-quality shoewear to its consumers. There are currently over 100 Aerosoles stores and outlets in the United States. The brand’s website confirms that the company will open more retail locations this year as well. The footwear brand is the lead brand of Aerogroup International, which also includes Aerology, WhatsWhat and A2. According to the Wall Street Journal, the company’s annual sales are approximately 200 million dollars. Since the trend of print has been known to be in a decline, bringing its catalog to a digital format is a smart move for the brand.
