British luxury lingerie brand Agent Provocateur is expanding

into China this month with the opening of its first stores in Beijing and Shanghai. Currently, the label has 30 stores in 13 countries, and the London-based chain is planning to open ten boutiques across China in the next few years, as well as launch an e-commerce website before the end of the year.

Its first standalone Chinese store will be a 560 square foot boutique at Parkview Green Mall, Beijing, and it will house the brand’s main collection, classics, bridal, swimwear, accessories and beauty ranges.

In addition, Agent Provocateur is also opening a 484 square foot concession in luxury department store Lane Crawford in Shanghai.

As well as expanding into China, the British label has plans to open stores in Paris, Moscow, Australia and Mexico over the next three months.
