Diane von Furstenberg names EVP of accessories

New York-based fashion label Diane von Furstenberg has

appointed Michelle Ryan to the newly created role of executive vice president of accessories.

Ryan, who joins from Jimmy Choo later this month, will be responsible for all accessories departments, including design, merchandising, planning and sales, and will report to DVF president Paula Sutter.

At Jimmy Choo, Ryan was senior vice president of merchandising and licensing, and has been credited with growing the Choo 24:7 collection. Prior to Jimmy Choo, she worked at Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent, Lela Rose and Richard Tyler.
