The Advertising Standards Bureau decided the Lara Stone Calvin Klein billboard is pornographic and should be banned. The imagery received complaints invoking violence against women. The advertisement is now banned in Australia as it alludes to gang rape.

Desire and sexually suggestive imagery is de base of most advertisements. In this particular case it’s the potential interpretation that moved the ASB to censor the Calvin Klein billboard.
