New York - When NYFW: Men's was announced in February, many men's wear designers were rejoicing that they were finally getting a week of their own, and were working to figure out how they would be involved. Some designers had already committed to showing their collections at London Collection: Men's, and others were used to showing in Milan and weren't ready to change venues yet, but, they still wanted to get involved somehow. All eyes were on Ralph Lauren as he was completely mum about how if he would be involved in any way, and as one of the greatest fashion legends in American history, whatever he said or did could have a major impact.

Thankfully, Ralph Lauren has finally broken his silence and has announced how he plans on being involved with the first inaugural NYFW: Men's: by showing his Polo Ralph Lauren's men's collection. Lauren's involvement further help solidify NYFW: Men's place as a reputable event on the fashion calendar. This month, things have seriously become more major for the new event.
