Burberry announces new LA flagship

British heritage label Burberry has confirmed that it

is to open a new flagship in Beverly Hills on North Rodeo Drive. Set to open late 2014, the store will be exclusively designed by chief creative officer, Christopher Bailey to create a “dynamic new brand experience”.

Following successful openings of flagships in London, Hong Kong and recently Chicago, the concept store will recreate the brand’s ‘Burberry World Live’ experience of the Regent Street flagship in London, which blends together the fashion house’s online identity with a traditional physical store.

In a statement, Burberry said: “This major investment in Los Angeles is a part of Burberry’s global flagship strategy, which is focused on optimizing significant brand opportunities in the most influential markets worldwide.”

The British fashion house will be taking over the space currently occupied by luxury menswear line Ermenegildo Zegna.
