French fashion house Givenchy has announced that it

won’t be presenting an haute couture collection in January 2013.
The label helmed by Riccardo Tisci has opted in recent seasons to showcase its couture collection in more intimate, still-life presentations, but according to WWD the label has decided not to share its spring/summer 2013 collection with press in January as planned.
A short communication from the brand confirmed that the label will still continue to make haute couture gowns, however press and the public will have to wait until a celebrity such as Anne Hathaway or Cate Blanchett who have been seen in Givenchy designs recently wear one of Tisci’s designs on the red carpet.

Paris Haute Couture Week takes place from January 21 to January 23 and will include catwalk shows from Chanel, Valentino, and Dior, as well as Maison Martin Margiela and Alexis Mabille who have been awarded haute couture appellation by French fashion's governing body, Chambre Syndicale.
