Luxury fashion label Hermès has announced the extension of its partnership with the US

Equestrian Federation, which is the sports national leading management committee. The French luxury label has been the main sponsor of the US jumping team since February this year, supplying riders with specially designed competition apparel.

“The horse was our first client and equestrian sport remains at the heart of the culture of the House today. Since Hermès was founded in 1837 as a saddlery, our ateliers have been dedicated to the making of the finest hand-crafted equestrian equipment,” said Robert B. Chavez, President and CEO of Hermès US at the time.

According to the extended agreement, Hermès will contribute all profession apparel and accessories to all the US Equestrian Federation teams under all eight disciplines, outfitting all riders and their horses. “This new partnership with the USEF represents our continued commitment, ensuring that riders and horses alike have access to the very best available products to meet the demands of competition at the highest level,” commented Chavez to WWD.

Hermès first debut its riding gear and clothing during the World Equestrian Games, which opened on Saturday and will run to September 7, in Normandy, Franc. The specialized riding apparel is currently available at the luxury labels stores in New York and Beverly Hills, as well as online.
