Today Hugo Boss will open the doors of its new flagship store

in Tokyo, Japan. The flagship store is located on the famous shopping street Omotesando, near Shibuya and is near other exclusive Western retail brands like Emporio Armani and Tod's.

The flagship shop offers over 3,600 square feet of retail shopping space, spread over three floors, with a VIP room located on the top floor and is the first store in Tokyo to offer the full range of men's wear lines from Hugo Boss.

Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, chief executive officer of Hugo Boss told WWD that Hugo Boss is enjoying very good momentum in Japan at the moment adding,“since certain things in Japan changed, it seems the consumer gained — after a long, long moment of insecurity — confidence.

“And this confidence-building moment is ongoing. It’s something which is very reassuring to us because we always wanted to find a moment to strengthen our position in Japan.”
