British luxury footwear and accessories brand Jimmy Choo has announced the opening of its

first men’s only store in London. Located in Burlington Arcade, the 300 sq ft store opens next week and will extend across two floors, and will offer a complete assortment of Jimmy Choo men’s shoes.

Jimmy Choo, which debuted men’s shoes for autumn/winter 2011, includes formal styles such as lace-ups, monk straps, loafers, and side zip boots; as well as casual styles such as Chelsea and biker boots, slippers, and the brand’s trainers.

The store interior will feature a colour scheme of charcoal grey, black and silver with ebonised wood fused with grey flannel and English pewter hardware, inspired by 1960s Mayfair gentleman’s clubs.

“I want it to feel as though you are walking into a gentleman’s club, with all the luxurious appointments and comforts,” said Tamara Mellon, founder and chief creative officer. “It’s a mod update on an English men’s smoking lounge.”

The men’s collection is also available to buy online.
