British designer JW Anderson has designed his debut collection for Topshop, launching in

September. Anderson has worked with Topshop before, he created a t-shirt as part of the 10th anniversary of Newgen sponsorship during London Fashion Week, but this collection will mark his first high street ready-to-wear collection.

The range will include clothing such as jersey, denim, knitwear and outerwear pieces as well as items such as pencils, memory sticks, Rubik’s cubes, vintage magazines and photography books.

"I am very excited to collaborate with Topshop. It gives me the opportunity to reach a much wider audience with my designs. It has always been very important to me that my collections are made accessible to anyone interested in fashion and design," said JW Anderson.

"The launch with JW Anderson is a new and exciting approach for Topshop to our collaborations. The capsule collection is a best of all his design ideas to date, a sort of must have wardrobe of covetable pieces by this unique designer. The interesting twist however is the cool collectable items that will make up the rest of this collection which JW Anderson has picked himself," added Topshop creative director, Kate Phelan.

A second collection will hit stores in early 2013. Both collections will be available in all Topshop territories.
