New fit specialist

Sizing and fit expert Alvanon appointed a new ‘fit’ specialist to join its development division

Rajev Calten Houwing has been appointed AlvaBlock consultant and will join Alvanon’s team of global specialists providing international brands and retailers with customised fit strategies. Houwing brings knowledge and experience of technical design management, block pattern cutting, CAD-CAM and tailoring to his new role in addition to seven years with Tommy Hilfiger where he was responsible for the brand’s childrenswear fit strategies. As an AlvaBlock consultant he will be responsible for generating customised block patterns to reflect brand and retailer style identities based on target consumer morphologies and fit forms.

Alvanon is part of the Alvanon Group founded in Hong Kong by the late Dr Kenneth Wang in 2001.
