Victoria’s Secret to open in time for Olympics

American lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret has confirmed

that it will open its first UK stores just days before the London Olympic Games, in an aim to capitalise on the masses of tourists descending onto the capital.

The first Victoria’s Secret store on the corner of London’s New Bond Street and Brook Street will open on July 25, which is rumoured to be launching with a catwalk show featuring the brand’s spokesmodels, or Angels, as they like to be called, which could include new mother Alessandra Ambrosio.

The flagship launch will be followed the next day with the opening of its second store at Westfield Stratford, which is next door to the Olympic Stadium.
