BLOCKED & CHOPPED

A key trend from the Paris runways, garments catch the eye with mix 'n' match print panels, which clash styles to create hybrid aesthetics. Plain shapes are revamped with blocks of bold pattern, with monochrome tones adding a stark sophistication. Other interpretations incorporate colourful florals intercut with wide black stripes.

 

 

ENLARGED GEOS

In New York, geometric repeat prints are blown up with enlarged scales for a modern twist on conventional retro looks. We see houndstooth applied in diamond panels for a patchwork-like effect, while colourful patterns stand out on white bases. For a more surreal statement, interrupt geos with body part motifs.
