For the first time ever, people from anywhere in the world can be trained by a Savile Row Master Tailor, without having to undertake a lengthy apprenticeship or even visit London, home of the legendary tailoring street.

Mastered, in collaboration with Professor Andrew Ramroop of Maurice Sedwell, have launched the first online course that teaches the exceptionally high Savile Row standards of tailoring.

In "The Savile Row Jacket" course Professor Ramroop will reveal techniques usually only taught to his elite group of apprentices at Maurice Sedwell and the Savile Row Academy. Over 20+ hours of video he will teach the entire process of making a bespoke jacket, from laying the pattern to hand stitching the buttonholes.

Student learn in the interactive Mastered classroom, where they watch videos, complete exercises, ask Andrew questions and get personlised feedback on their work via their online portfolio.

Perri Lewis, creative director of Mastered, says: "Andrew is a real talent, in both tailoring and teaching. We’re delighted to be collaborating with him on this course, giving aspiring tailors from across the world the chance to learn from a true master. Master tailors of Andrew’s standard are in short supply on Savile Row, and before now only a few have been able to benefit from their skills.”
