Hermès closed Paris fashion week, and at this same time closed the curtains after four years with its creative director, Christophe Lemaire.

Earlier this year Lemaire announced he would be leaving the luxury fashion house to focus on this own collection. That didn't stop him from sending one last stellar collection down a sand-covered runway.

The silhouette he presented were draping suede dresses and wool blouses that were inexplicably luxurious. A suede robe and navy leather collared shirt were stand out pieces in a mostly neutral palette, with a hint of Hermes scarf prints.

In July Hermès announced the appointment of Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski, who previously held design positions at The Row and Maison Martin Margiela.

Vanhee-Cybulski will commence her role later this month and is expected to show her first collection during the autumn/winter 2015 presentations next March in Paris.
