Through a ‘Click to Chat' function following a global live stream, Burberry enabled customers to purchase the men’s collection right after the show. The British brand presented its Burberry Prorsum Menswear AW11 collection during Milan Fashion Week.
The show was streamed live from the show space using new technology to enhance the viewing and instant purchase experience, as well as on over 180 online sites globally. Immediately after the show, visitors to the site are able to order outerwear and bags from the collection using instant messaging functionality to receive immediate product information and place an order ('Click to Chat') or by clicking for an instant call back by a Burberry salesperson to place an order ('Click to Call').
Orders can be placed until Sunday 23 January and will be delivered within two months. An on-demand version of the live stream is available on burberry.com. Burberry, which was founded in 1856, is a member of the FTSE100 and is headquartered in London.
