French designer, Isabel Marant has created an exclusive t-shirt with Gap to commemorate World AIDS Day as part of its (GAP)RED initiative. Printed on Gap’s heather grey v-neck tee a boyish over-sized style, the playfully colourful print and slouchy silhouette epitomize the under-stated easy style of Isabel’s collection.

Strictly limited edition, the t-shirt will go on sale in Gap stores globally this week and 50% of profits from the sale of all tees will go to the Global Fund to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.

Isabel Marant commented, “I am very thrilled that Gap has given me the opportunity to contribute to such an important cause. This is one of those rare occasions when fashion can do something to help make the world a slightly better place. I am more than honoured to follow in the steps of the impressive collaborators who have worked on the RED project before me”.

Steve Sunnucks, President, Gap Inc. International added , “We’re honoured that Isabel, one of today’s most coveted designers, has designed a tee to support (GAP)RED. Knowing that her collections are desired by young women around the world we’re thrilled to be working with her to help raise awareness of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, as well as raise funds for Global Fund AIDS programmes in Africa.”

World’s AIDS Day takes place on December 1.
