PFW: Saint Laurent AW14

How do you update the rock & roll collection from Spring Summer 2014 and stay credible? By making it even more rock & roll.

Hedi Slimane took the house of Saint Laurent one step further to becoming clothes for Rock Gods. And frankly, who wouldn't want to be amongst the coolest people on the planet? Granted the drainpipe trousers wouldn't fit half of the Saunt Laurent customer base but the show wasn't about skinny jeans.

An array of beautifully tailored jackets and outerwear ranging from a houndstooth print to a sequined blazer, to leather biker jackets with fur trims on the lapel, each look was an equilibrium in itself.

Whether the styling of the outerwear and jackets was oversized or the models were exceptionally skinny, the jackets hung off the shoulders in that nonchalant rockstar way, which is secretly how we all want to dress next season.
