We have an exciting and experimental approach to contemporary, creative practice – set in the heart of a culturally energized city. Our aim is to instill in you the confidence, curiosity and commitment to thrive at University and beyond, and to give you the freedom and independence to both think, and to make.

 

The school’s fashion provision has grown in recent years and now includes undergraduate courses in fashion and fashion marketing, along with our new MA Fashion. We have recently recruited renowned fashion designer Matty Bovan as a senior lecturer who has been recognised as an emerging designer of distinction by the New York Times and who designed the installation we sponsored at this year’s international London Design Biennale. BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing students have had several internship successes over the last twelve months with numerous students being awarded positions at Tenth Magazine, Barbour, Leeds-based fashion company The Extras Group, the Wallis company, ASOS and fashion label Original Penguin. Not only this but from 2020 these course will be moving into our new cutting edge £80million Creative Arts Building.
