The School of Fashion at LISAA (L’Institut Supérieur des Arts Appliqués) is based in Paris, the fashion capital. This private higher education establishment, which is recognised by the state, trains students in fashion design/pattern making and textile design. These courses go into the fields of marketing, communication, management and innovation in depth, in order to make students aware of new design and production techniques, new materials and new functions. This positioning makes LISAA a pioneering school in France, oriented towards new markets and entrepreneurship. Bachelor courses are also available in the Nantes campus.

Both bachelor’s and master’s level courses are taught in French and English.

LISAA Fashion benefits from a network of over 1000 alumni, who are all professionals in the fashion industry. Many of them join prestigious Parisian fashion houses such as Céline, Dior, Balenciaga, Saint-Laurent Paris, Louis Vuitton and Givenchy, or launch their own brand, like Wasted, Naco or Karine Lecchi.

Students come to meet the teaching staff each year for four weeks of seminars led by experts in fashion and luxury marketing and management, at LISAA Fashion Paris. The course starts from September onwards.

BECOMING AN EXPERIENCED PROFESSIONAL Thanks to a teaching staff made up of recognised professionals in the fashion industry, and numerous partnerships with prestigious companies, this course is widely renowned.

Each student benefits from individual monitoring for the creation of their professional project and for finding a work placement. A database of more than 1000 job and internship offers per year allows students to find internships or jobs that live up to their expectations. A large number of them find work in the major luxury fashion houses, department stores or in specialist agencies.

Our students are undertaking work placements at Hermès, Paco Rabanne, Giorgio Armani Retail, Chloé, Ferragamo, IKKS, L'Oréal, APC, Paul & Joe, Dice Kayek, Maison Lejaby, Lanvin, Gérard Darel, Paul Smith, Les Petites, Bel Air, De Fursac, Galeries Lafayette, Sarenza, Brandalley, Martine Leherpeur, Publicis Conseil, The Row and Mondadori Magazines.

Locations: Paris and e-learning

Students become experts in fashion aud luxury. They cover the whole process of fashion design to create collections that are coherent in their market. The last 2 years in e-learning allow students to study management and marketing whilst working in a company. The course trains them to become fashion and luxury management specialists: they discover the whole range of different aspects of the international fashion industry, from designing a collection and organising a business, to managing a brand, communication, e-commerce, e-communication.

Thanks to a teaching staff made up of recognised professionals in the field of fashion, and its numerous partnerships with prestigious companies, this course is widely renowned.

MASTER'S-EQUIVALENT QUALIFICATION / IN ENGLISH The Fashion Design & Business course takes place over 5 years. The first year is shared with all Bachelor courses at LISAA Fashion Paris: Fashion and Textile Design and Fashion Design/Pattern Making. At the end of the first year, students choose the pathway in which they are most suited. Students can join in at the beginning of every year (1st, 2nd or 3rd year).

The last 2 years, students follow the master’s in Luxury and Fashion Management, a distance learning course on a dedicated e-learning platform. It allows students to study management and marketing whilst acquiring professional experience within a company.

Location: Paris

On this course, students will create garment and accessory designs, devise ready-to-wear and “designer” collections, and present them at catwalk shows and show rooms, in front of professionals.

Thanks to a teaching staff made up of recognised professionals in the fashion industry, and numerous partnerships with prestigious companies in fashion design, LISAA is widely renowned, notably by the Ministry of Culture and Communications.LISAA is ranked 4th best private school in Fashion by professionals (L'Étudiant 2018).

STATE-REGISTERED QUALIFICATION The Fashion Design/Pattern Making course takes place over three years. The first year is shared with all Bachelor courses at LISAA Fashion Paris: Fashion and Textile Design, Fashion Design/Pattern Making and Fashion Design & Business Bachelor’s. At the end of the first year, students choose the pathway in which they are most suited. Students can join in at the beginning of every year (1st, 2nd or 3rd year).

This course located in Nantes prepares students to become specialists in textile design. They will learn how to create colour and fabric ranges from their research and will create textile design collections.

A CREATIVE AND PROFESSIONAL COURSE Fashion and textile designers will be capable of choosing materials and dyeing methods adapted to their creations and will present their collections to professionals during the showroom presentations and catwalk shows. Thanks to a teaching staff made up of recognised professionals, and numerous partnerships with prestigious companies in the fashion industry, LISAA is widely renowned, notably by the Ministry of Culture and Communication.
