Raffles College of Design and Commerce

Raffles College of Design and Commerce is a unique education provider based in Sydney, Australia specialising in design, visual communication and business. Raffles deliver premium vocational and higher education programs from Certificates through to Bachelor Degrees and Master Degrees. The college delivers excellent courses and produce graduates who are well respected and successful in their careers. We do this by having lecturers who are active in industry, so their teaching constantly benefits from real-time knowledge of what’s going on in the field and in present “design thinking” circles.

In 2005 the college joined the Raffles Education Corporation, Asia Pacific’s premier creative design and business education provider with a network of over 34 colleges across the region, including locations such as Singapore, China, and Thailand. As part of the network, there is an exciting opportunity to study part of a degree at one of our other group locations.

Alongside our industry partner programs, and with our ongoing commitment to our students’ careers, Raffles is the only private provider in Australia to offer its fashion graduates the opportunity to stage their own show as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia (MBFWA).  Since 2010 our top graduates have presented their own brands alongside outstanding designers from our sister colleges in Singapore and Shanghai, in what is the finest representation of emerging design talent across the Asia-Pacific region. The Raffles fashion program provides Alumni with continued post-degree mentorship in a way which is impressive amongst design educators in Australia.
