Portuguese Apparel and Textile Industry
The apparel and textile industry is one of the most important to the Portuguese economy. It makes up 15 percent of the total export and is one of the largest exporter in Europe. The Portuguese footwear is sold in more than 140 countries and more than seventy million pairs of shoe are exported each year.
