Eastbay is a global leader in the direct mail catalog and Internet sales market for retailing athletic footwear, apparel and sports equipment. The company is a subsidiary of Foot Locker, Inc. Eastbay also has its own clothing brand, offering jackets, pants, shorts and tops in a variety of team colors and styles, all featuring the signature Eastbay logo. The company began in 1980 when Richard Gering and Art Juedes set up a shoe sales company. Eastbay established its own clothing brand in 1990, offering jackets, pants, shorts and tops in various sports teams' colors and styles, with the Eastbay logo. Since 1997, it has been the direct-to-mail division of Foot Locker, Inc. While Foot Locker’s corporate offices are based in New York, Eastbay’s catalog and Internet operations are based in Wausau, Wisconsin.
