Elliott Lucca is a luxurious lifestyle brand that includes leather handbags, footwear and accessories. Longtime friends, Todd Elliott (Elliott) and Mark Talucci (Lucca), both grew up overseas. They shared a love for discovering and importing textiles found in places like Brazil, Mexico and Indonesia to their hometown of San Francisco. In 1989, during a surf trip to Bali, Indonesia, the friends were inspired by the hand-crafted sleeping mats the local Balisians used. They had the vision to turn these intricate sleeping mats into luxurious bags. There was something about the simplicity of the rattan bag and the hand craftsmanship that made it special and different than anything they had seen in the States. And it was then, in the beauty and simplicity of a rattan sleeping mat, Elliott Lucca was born.
