Whether you choose to study in Paris, Shanghai or Istanbul, our lecturers are mostly recruited from France. This approach provides students the French fashion heritage that can be felt as you begin your studies in either school. Having two locations also adds a different edge that mixes the classical side of fashion in Paris with the fast changing fashion and luxury world of Shanghai and the well-connected and the most strategic location for all kinds of trades of Istanbul to truly create a one of a kind learning experience. Our course offerings were created based on real industry demand to help prepare students for life after their education. Our traditional core course, the Bachelor Fashion Design and Technology, was created with the same curriculum in both cities to give students a chance to delve into both fashion capitals and obtain valuable global insights in the industry. Our Postgraduate courses are built with the thought of offering high level education in the fashion and luxury field to teach valuable skill sets that future managers can use with confidence and efficiency and ultimately be leaders in the international scene.

Today, IFA Paris has more than one thousand students from around the world studying at our campuses. Our main objective is to not only train our students, but to also make them better professionals to join the competitive environment of the fashion and luxury industry, in France, in China, in Turkey and anywhere in the world. Although IFA Paris has established itself as a leader in fashion education in the fields of design, business, communication and luxury for many years; our success can be attributed from the influence of Mrs. Olga Saurat. As IFA Paris’s Honorary President, she is considered a very influential figure in fashion and in education. Mrs. Saurat was the dean of la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, one of the world’s most prestigious fashion schools. She has also been the president of the Association des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France which every year selects France’s best professionals for traditional and prestigious craftsmanship. Former member of the Conseil de l'Ordre National du Merite, Mrs. Saurat has been awarded some of France’s highest honors, including the highly distinctive Commandeur de la Legion d’Honneur for her contribution to the country through her life and career. Her engagement during her entire career for traditional craftsmanship provided her with the following titles: National Honorary President of Société des Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, French Haute Couture Ambassador in Japan, Canada, United States, Pakistan, Russia, Hungary, China and Thailand and President of French National Education Jury Couture. “When Olivia Chai and Patrick Kouzmine Karavaieff contacted to me to provide my support as Honorary President of IFA Paris, I didn’t hesitate. I have known them for many years; I know how deeply they are involved in the fashion world and their shared passion for education. It reminds me of my own career as the dean of Paris’s Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne to where I am still also their Honorary President. Olivia and Patrick are both Parisian at heart, impregnated of our capital’s artistic culture, but also share a love for China’s long history and its recent incredible economic and social development. I have always felt that the bridge they have built between those two cities through their fashion schools on in Paris and Shanghai is an outstanding story contributing to enrich the know how in those two countries and train students from around the world.
