Joline Jolink

Fashion designer Joline Jolink had been working in fashion for nearly twenty years when she realized how much she missed the connection to the source of textiles. Consequently, in 2023, she moved from Rotterdam to a farm in Welsum (Overijssel). There, she founded the Fashion Farm. At the Fashion Farm, Joline Jolink deepens her relationship with fashion and nature. Here, she experiments with textile raw materials that can be grown and processed on Dutch soil, such as flax, wool, and plant pigments. She does not do this alone. In collaboration with like-minded makers, farmers, and researchers, she is making the transition to a regenerative business model step by step.

In the ecologically renovated former chicken barn at the Fashion Farm, Joline Jolink develops her collections in the design studio. There is also a Knowledge Center; a place where fashion, nature, and education come together and inspiration is nurtured to make a greater impact with fashion. Together with professionals, Joline Jolink shares knowledge here about local fibers, craftsmanship, and regenerative makership. Through workshops, masterclasses, and lectures, she offers a platform to set a new narrative about fashion in motion: how fashion can once again become part of a thriving ecosystem. In addition to the Fashion Farm, Joline Jolink has her own store in Rotterdam and a webshop.
