The history of KNOBLAUCH began in 1909 as a small, family-run carpentry workshop in Markdorf on Lake Constance, Germany. Today, KNOBLAUCH is a family-run medium-sized company that stands for exceptional, high-quality shopfitting and interior design. More than 270 employees develop and implement successful store concepts for renowned customers such as opus, Marc O'Polo, mey, and olsen—from the initial design to the finished fit-out, including furnishings. In addition to its own design department, KNOBLAUCH still has its own production facility where prototypes are manufactured. The company is managed by owner and managing director Jürgen Zahn and managing director Klaus Hummel.
