Versace

Versace is the Italian luxury brand created by Gianni Versace. He launched its women's collection under the name Gianni Versace Donna in Milan in 1978. In 1989 Versace launched his first couture collection in Paris and opens Atelier Versace. In 1997 Gianni Versace tragically died and his sister Donatella Versace, formerly vice-president, took over as creative director and his older brother Santo Versace became CEO of the company.
