In the Fashion & Textile Technologies Bachelor’s programme at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI), you will learn all about the world of fashion: from designing and making garments to selling and promoting them. Within Fashion & Management, students learn about the business side of fashion, from development to product sales. Students combine creativity with strategic insight and practical skills. Key topics include marketing, supply chain management, new business models, finance, fashion theory, product development and international business.
Future career opportunities: product development manager, brand manager, fashion purchasing agent, supply chain manager, sustainability manager, marketing strategist or researcher.

Fashion & Branding
Within Fashion & Branding, students develop creative and analytical skills. They work on consumer research, brand concepts and communication strategies, combining digital and traditional techniques. Key topics include concept development, brand strategy, marketing theory, visual communication, graphic design, copywriting and the impact of social trends on consumer behaviour.
Future career opportunities: brand manager, brand strategist, creative strategist, content developer and creator, art director or graphic designer.

Within Fashion & Design, students learn to translate concepts and ideas into fashion products and collections. They develop skills in design, construction, use of materials, digital techniques and craft techniques. Key topics include pattern making, draping, building collections, visualisation, commerce, fashion theory and trends.
Future career opportunities: independent designer, industrial designer, digital designer, textile designer or developer.
Fashion & Design
AMFI recruits a fixed number of students (numerus fixus) each year. Potential students can enroll between 1 October and 15 January at the latest.
