Accademia Costume & Moda BA students present their collection

Last week students of Italian fashion school, Accademia Costume & Moda presented their collection that interprets the synthesis of the BA in Costume and Fashion. The Undergraduate Programme that provides students with individual and cultural awareness, competence and technique, experience and professionalism.

The show involved 15 collections. One for menswear, six for womenswear, one menswear/womenswear, three for Men Leathergoods, one for Women Leathergoods, two for Men/Woman Leathergoods, and one for Genderless Leathergoods. They all were created in collaboration with 39 companies among the best in Made in Italy. The students that presented this year were: Marianna Achilli, Enrica Maria Affinita, Filippo Alimonti, Marco Anzil, Gianmaria Bottino, Lazzaro Bove, Marco Bucchi, Ginevra Calò, Renato De Simone, Gaia Garofalo, Anna Lemme, Sofia Masciotta, Valeri Salvatori, Lorena Tiberi, Margherita Violante.

“After more than a year of profound changes that have marked the industry and the market, the Academy proves to be able to continue the profound growth path undertaken to support new fashion professionals. ACM continues in the wake of innovation, establishing solid ties and collaborations with professionals and companies in the Fashion System to ensure the personal and professional growth of our students. A strategy – that was already implemented by my predecessors, my grandmother Rosana Pistolese and my mother Fiamma Lanzara, – proving to be successful and appreciated both by the market and the industry and confirming the employment rate of our students at over 93 percent,” said A. Lupo Lanzara, President of Accademia Costume & Moda.

The work of the students was judged by a prestigious jury of experts who evaluated the collections and portfolios in terms of Innovation, Research, Product and Total Look. Filippo Alimonti won a prize in the category Fashion Design with his collection “Gacho”, and Marco Anzil for the category Fashion Accessories with his collection “ACDC”.
