Belgian Fashion Awards announces 2022 nominees

This year, the Belgian Fashion Awards will be presented on November 24 in Brussels. The organisers behind the Belgian fashion awards have now announced the nominees.

In the 'Designer of the Year' category, the candidates are Charlotte de Geyter, Stephanie D'Heygere, Glenn Martens, Ester Manas and Pieter Mulier. Mous Lamrabat, Bianca Quets Luzzi, Kaat Debo, Thierry Brunfaut and Dimitri Jeurissen (together) and Frederik Heyman are in the running for 'Professional of the Year'. In the 'Changemaker of the Year' category, the nominees are Ester Manas, Shayli Harrison, Siré Kaba, Kenza Vandeput and Murielle Scherre. Eduoard Both, Florentina Leitner, Sarah de Saint Hubert, Marie Martens and Fernando Miro and Alizée Loubet (together) are candidates for the 'Emerging Talent of the Year'. Last but not least, 'Most Promising Graduate of the Year' will also be awarded. For this prize, the jury has selected Ching-lin Chen, Mégane Gailliez, Sebastian van Canneyt, Emma de Meulenaer, Cynthia Boes, Violette van Roy and Florent Seligmann.

This year's Belgian Fashion Awards jury consists of a variety of fashion industry professionals, which include Vena Brykalin, Aya Noël, Élodie Ouédraogo, Branko Popovic, Caroline Esgain, Jesse Brouns, Nicolas di Felice, Serge Carreira, Orsola de Castro, Marie-Hélène Vanderborght, Eve Demoen, Elisa de Wyngaert, Pascale Mussard, Thibaud Guyonnet and Milou van Rossum.
