Non-profit research agency Connecting Cultures and international eco-hub C.L.A.S.S. have announced the second edition of its international competition, Imagining Sustainable Fashion Award 2022.

The competition was created with the aim of receiving innovative submissions from photographers, artists, designers, and multimedia creatives across disciplines to come up with new ways of communicating ethical and sustainable values. Proposals can be a collection of images, audiovisual, video or other means.

C.L.A.S.S. CEO and founder Giusy Bettoni said in a statement: “C.L.A.S.S. and Connecting Cultures have teamed up again to invite both young and established creative minds to submit proposals for the Imagining Sustainable Fashion Award 2022.

“After seeing the quality of the work submitted last year by participants from literally across the globe, we knew our award resonated with both industry veterans and emerging talent alike.”

Connecting Cultures founder and president Anna Detheridge added: “The competition is an opportunity to rethink how to communicate the new and different values of an ethical and sustainable fashion system.”

Applicants are invited to hand in their submissions until January 12 and the winner of the award will receive 3,000 euros.
