EASD Valencia hosts Jewellery Design Show

Last year, from December 15 until December 17, Spanish design school EASD Valencia hosted its annual Young Jewellers’ Show, where jewellery students showcase contemporary designs.

A total of 40 students and alumni specialising in contemporary jewellery participated in the event, which consisted of a fashion and jewellery catwalk show in the centre of the city of Valencia.

In addition, the annual award ceremony for the Young Jewellers’ Contest took place. In this contest, professional jewellers judge the designs of the bachelor students in the Degree of Artistic Education in Jewellery and Object Design programme at EASD Valencia.

The bachelor degree in Jewellery and Object Design at the school is aimed at students who want to learn about the conceptual and technical aspects of jewellery design and the social responsibility that comes along with the profession. The degree also allows students to express their individuality in their designs and introduces them to the professional world of jewellers.
