The French lingerie brand Etam unveils its “designer capsule”, the first exclusive collection created in collaboration with third-year Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design students from the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM).

Etam invited IFM's students to reinvent the traditional codes of lingerie through the filter of their avant-garde vision, the theme was sartorial hybridisation. Fifteen students were chosen beforehand by a jury set up by the brand to give life to eight futuristic silhouettes. Divided into three groups, each had the task of delivering their interpretation according to three guidelines: multiport, fusion and versatility.

Focused on experimentation and innovation, and carried out with the help of Etam's corset-making experts, this collaboration will nevertheless be well marketed. After a presentation scheduled as part of Paris Fashion Week, the capsule will be manufactured on demand in the brand's Tech Center workshops, which creates the prototypes and manages the research and development of Etam.

The collection will be available for pre-order at the Etam Boulevard Haussmann flagship in Paris and on the brand's e-shop from 8 March 2022.
