The University for the Creative Arts (UCA) provides its students with a dynamic and inclusive environment. It offers various courses, including architecture, art, design, fashion, media, and performing arts.

Origins

Established 160 years ago, the UCA is now the UK’s highest-ranked creative specialist university and the second-largest provider of creative arts education in the UK, with around 6,000 students.

UCA cares about creativity as the university believes it makes for a more vibrant and innovative global community. To put this in practice, UCA has made sure to create partnerships with organisations such as the Royal School of Needlework.

What to study?

UCA’s fashion courses take place at its School of Fashion and Textiles at UCA Epsom.

There is a selection of fashion courses for students to choose from, including a Bachelor in Fashion Atelier & Tailoring, Fashion Business & Management, Fashion Branding & Communication, Fashion Design, Fashion Image & Styling, Fashion Photography, Printed Fashion Textiles and Textiles.

Students can also select a Master in Creative Direction for Fashion, Digital Fashion, Fashion Business & Management, Fashion Design, Fashion Forecasting & Data Analysis, Fashion Photography, Global Fashion Cultures, Printed Textiles for Fashion & Interiors and Textiles.

News

UCA is investing 15 million pounds between now and 2023 in order to upgrade its professional fashion and textile facilities. It is expected to have new and remodeled spaces by the start of the academic year in 2023.
