Front Fashion School opens in Moscow

The Front Fashion School openened at the end of November in Moscow. Founded by fashion journalist and industry expert Olga Mikhailovskaya, the school features courses in fashion history and journalism, which mostly take place in the evening and on weekends.

The school seeks to teach fashion professionals and those who strive to become one. By learning about the history of fashion, the students shall be enabled to understand the present workings of the industry and anticipate upcoming trends.

Mikhailovskaya has started as fashion journalist in the 90s, observing the sector for Russian newspaper Kommersant, and her career included stints as an editor for Vogue and as a creative director of CitizenK and L'Officiel.

In opening her own school, she joins other known Russian fashion industry professionals such as the journalist Evelina Khromtchenko as well as stylist and TV host Alexander Rogov who are already offering their own classes.
