Gerrit Rietveld reveals new talents at 2018 fashion show

Graduates from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy, one of the most prestigious fine arts institutions in the Netherlands, showcased their collections in a fashion show held at June 6 at the former shipbuilding hangar NDSM Shipyard in Amsterdam. Outstanding works from first and second-year students were also on display at the event

The 2018 fashion show included works by Nikola Čemanová, Lieselot Elzinga, Yaroslav Glazunov, Edward Liao, and Galatee Martin.

The graduate fashion show of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy is one of the most important events in the local fashion calendar, as it is not only targeted at students and staff. It also attracts the attention of outside professionals such as art gallery owners and art curators, which allows the students to network with possible employers.
