The Graduate Fashion Foundation (GFF), a charitable organisation that supports newly graduated/undergraduate students and provides a platform for new talent, has announced the winner of the sustainable design competition, Sammera Mohmed, launched in collaboration with online fashion retailer Boohoo.

Mohmed is from the University of Central Lancashire and she won the competition by designing four ready-to-wear summer outfits with the concept of wanting “to create a diverse, more sustainable and modest clothing range which caters to all women, no matter their race and belief,” according to a statement.

As the winner, Mohmed will work with Boohoo’s team to have her designs realised and launched on Boohoo’s website as part of its ‘Ready For The Future’ collection, as well, she has won a cash prize of three thousand pounds.
