French fashion school IFA Paris in collaboration with the Venture Studio Beyond Form has launched a startup programme to offer new opportunities for its graduated students as part of their venture ‘Foundry Powered by IFA Paris’.

The six or 12-month fashion incubation programme is open to creatives and those who wish to become entrepreneurs, each student will develop their own business creation project.

The aim of the university with this programme is to maintain a relationship with the graduates and to continue to support them in their projects.

The student will have to demonstrate one or more concepts from the following United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) because of IFA Paris’ commitment to sustainability: industry, innovation, and infrastructure, no poverty, reduced inequality and responsible consumption and production.

Jean-Baptiste Andreani, CEO of IFA Paris, said in a statement: “The young entrepreneurs who join this incubation program often have particularly innovative ideas but do not have sufficient professional experience to determine the viability of their projects.

“The possibility of benefiting from internship agreements, therefore, allows candidates in the program to perfect their technical skills, which will have a positive "spill-over" effect on their start-up project.”
