Dutch Design Week, the international platform seeking to present innovation in the design industry, took place last week in The Netherlands, and this did not disappoint. Each year a selection of recently graduated art students from around the world travel to The Netherlands to present their designs, collaborations, and more.

This year’s section of the design week titled, “Modebelofte”, which will going forward be known as “New Order of Fashion” was themed “Shape Shifters”. Participating designers strive for autonomy, imagination and experiment for the ways in which we express our identity, according to the description of the exhibition. "They answer a fundamental human need to transform themselves," said Dutch Design Week.
