Institut Français de la Mode shows support for Ukraine with fundraiser

Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) has set up several initiatives to show its support for Ukraine following the Russian invasion, according to a statement FashionUnited received from IFM.

IFM’s students and professors have taken part in an initiative by Façon de Faire, an operation to coordinate aid actions in the textiles and clothing sector, where they have sewed ponchos for refugees in Ukraine.

Additionally, IFM and IFM alumni have organised an auction of drawings created by current IFM students with all of the proceeds being given to the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) charity to assist Ukrainian refugees. The school will also be donating to the charity.

The school has also organised collections of donations of products that have been sent to the Ukrainian embassy.
