Istituto Marangoni launches scholarship competition with Snapchat and Meet Digital Culture Centre

Istituto Marangoni has collaborated with Snapchat, a visual social media platform, and Meet Digital Culture Centre, an Italian organisation supporting digital culture and creative technology, to launch a scholarship competition with the aim of finding new talent in design and multimedia arts.

Students who apply for the Master in Digital Design for Immersive Experiences scholarship from the collaboration between Istituto Marangoni and Snapchat at the university's Milan campus must design an application.

The application must feature augmented reality digital filters that elevate the user’s experience within an indoor/outdoor meeting place, a physical space or a store to enhance the user’s sensory sphere.

The scholarship covers 50 percent of tuition fees for the master. Winners will be selected by the Board of Education of Istituto Marangoni and mentors from the master. The course starts in October 2022.

Instituto Marangoni and Meet Digital Culture Centre scholarship

For students who wish to receive a Bachelor in Multimedia Arts scholarship at Instituto Marangoni Florence from the collaboration between Istituto Marangoni and Meet Digital Culture Centre must present a concept for a multimedia creative idea.

Similarly, students who wish to be awarded a Master in Digital Media Arts scholarship at Instituto Marangoni Florence from the collaboration must design an immersive installation.

Both courses from the collaboration with Meet Digital Culture Centre start in September 2022, and the projects will be judged by considering the student's different tools and innovative technology.

Applications close for both scholarships on June 6, 2022.
