Istituto Modartech achieves Best Education Award 2021

Higher education school Istituto Modartech has been given the Best Education Award at the Milan Fashion Global Summit 2021.

The Best Education Award recognises excellence in the ‘Made in Italy’ supply chain, the success comes after the institute’s graduates presented their collections at the Fashion Graduate Italia, a three-day event that is dedicated to students and those who are passionate about fashion.

The jury at the Milan Fashion Global Summit 2021 included the following industry professionals: Arcangelo D'Onofrio, CEO of Temera, Carlo Capasa, the president of the Italian Chamber of Fashion, Flavio Sciuccati, senior partner of The European House Ambrosetti, Gabriele Capolino, director and associate publisher of Milano Finanza, Giulia Pessani, director of Gentelman, Raffaello Napoleone, CEO of Pitti Immagine, and Stefano Roncato, director of MF Fashion.

Alessandro Bertini, director of the Modartech Institute, said in a statement: “The Best Education is an award to the Institute in its entirety that highlights the sometimes less visible work of those who work within Modartech, to guarantee effective and constantly evolving methodologies, testimony that research and innovation are the heart of a training institute. Modartech has so far appreciated the numerous contests won by students, results obtained by young people appreciated for their creativity, their talent and their technical skills.

“The Award is a choral recognition that includes the teaching staff, the spearhead of a complex educational ecosystem made up of professionals who bring skills but above all passion into the classroom, a source of inspiration for children. This result has a particular value also because it is given to us after a long period that has put a strain on the creative drive, marked by the physical distance with the teachers and the Institute itself, but which was also an opportunity for didactic experimentation. All this represents a strong incentive to do better and better.”
