Luminous Diamonds and FSF announce design winner

Jewellery brand Luminous Diamonds collaborated with the Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF) to create the Design Your Inner Light challenge and the winner of the competition was Iowa State University fashion/apparel design graduate Sarah Solnet.

The Design Your Inner Light challenge consisted of coming up with creative concepts that would bring the Luminous Diamonds philosophy to life by creating a fashionable garment design, according to a statement.

Sarah received a cash prize of 10,000 dollars for her garment design which will be fully realised and worn by supermodel Coco Rocha. Additionally, the graduate will receive mentorship from brand consultant Chrissy Rutherford, fashion designer Christian Siriano, celebrity stylist Mariel Haenn, FSF executive director Peter Arnold and Rebecca Foerster, president of Alrosa USA.
