Marbella Design Academy has partnered with the charitable organisation Cudeca Hospice-Fundación Cudeca Cuidados Paliativos in Málaga, Spain, to create and donate upcycled garments to be donated in support of this charity.
The garments were created using second-hand clothing and fabrics that have been donated to the charity; the pieces were created in Marbella Design Academy's fashion atelier.
The university’s second-year fashion design students Ranvá, Daniela, Ryan and Fayth showcased a selection of upcycled garments at the university’s showroom before delivering them to Cudeca’s charity shops to be sold in support of the charity.
Cudeca is a charitable organisation that cares for cancer patients living in the province of Málaga that sells second-hand goods for funding.
