Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) has announced its presence at Fashion Graduate Italia 2021 | Come up! The event will take place from October 24-26 and it is promoted by the Fashion Training System Platform.
NABA will present a fashion show and a performance called ‘NABA-Planet dresses’, dedicated to focusing on responsible fashion as a creative tool, according to a statement. Also, the event will consist of exhibitions, fashion shows, meetings, performances and workshops, with the aim of imagining the future of the fashion industry.
On October 25, the NABA Graduates Fashion Show will present the best projects from the fashion design area, these include the following alumni collections: Andrea Boccadoro, Francesca Quagliano, Lucia Carmagnola, Marco Santini, Nicola Cudazzo and Oliver Stromsater of the triennio in fashion design.
Additionally, the best projects from the Master in Fashion and Textile Design will be shown: Arianna Gaudioso, Julia Salvarani, Matteo Turchi and Silvia Cannarella.
NABA’s fashion design area leader, Colomba Leddi, said in a statement: “We are very happy to confirm the presence of NABA at Fashion Graduate Italia 2021 | Come up!, which represents a unique opportunity for growth for all the students involved, also thanks to the synergies that are activated every year with the institutions and the network of schools.
“I also particularly care about "NABA-Planet dresses", a path of research into new languages proposed by young designers, in continuity with "Planet Dresses - The NABA Campus Fashion View 2021" which animated the campus last June 2021, and which was created to tell how fashion is rethinking itself without betraying the positive expectations of beauty and pleasure that clothes give.”
