SCAD Showcases emerging designers at 2025 graduate shows
May 30, 2025
The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) presented its annual SCAD FASHION show in Atlanta, highlighting collections from 53 senior and graduate students in the university’s School of Fashion.
The event featured 170 original looks ranging from eveningwear to casual and tailored pieces. Industry professionals including choreographer Emma Chadwick and Daniel Martin, global director of artistry at Tatcha, contributed to the production and beauty direction. A custom runway and installation by SCAD alumni added to the presentation, along with a live musical performance by SCAD students and graduates.
The collections were selected by a jury of fashion industry figures and reflected a wide range of interpretations on traditional themes. According to SCAD School of Fashion Dean Dirk Standen, students focused on reimagining classic fashion tropes with personal and contemporary perspectives.
SCAD offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in fashion and related disciplines across campuses in Atlanta, Savannah, and Lacoste, France, as well as online.
