Selfridges has partnered with media platform Dazed to launch an open call for emerging creatives, offering six successful applicants the opportunity to showcase their work in the luxury department store’s Oxford Street windows in London.

The initiative is open to people aged 18 to 35 working across creative disciplines, including fashion design, photography, styling, make-up, graphic design, set design, sculpture and filmmaking. Selected artists will take over six windows for three months from March 25, 2027, with their work also promoted to a global audience through Dazed’s channels.

Applications opened on October 16 and close at midnight on October 23, 2026, with those interested in participating required to submit a link to their work, alongside a statement outlining their inspirations, what the opportunity would mean to them and their proposed project.

Following the initial selection, shortlisted applicants will receive a 1,000 pound pitch fee to present their ideas to a jury comprising industry creatives and representatives from Selfridges and Dazed. The six final artists will each receive a 3,000-pound creative fee, alongside a production budget to bring their concepts to life.

Selfridges creative director Will Wyness said the initiative marks the first time the department store’s windows have been handed over to young artists in this way, aiming to give emerging talent a prominent public platform. He added: “We want to discover unfiltered new talent and give them the scale they deserve.”

Dazed editor-in-chief Ted Stansfield commented that the partnership builds on the publication’s 35-year history of championing new creative voices, adding: "This open call is a chance to discover some of the most exciting talent out there, giving selected artists a platform to reach new audiences and take their careers to the next level.”
