The Institute of Digital Fashion collaborated with Central Saint Martins to produce ‘Made to Expire: Disrupting the System’ from 13-15 December, a project launched to discuss gender politics, power structures and sustainability in the fashion industry.
The project consisted of a four part-course where participants were invited to learn how to create clothing digitally, led by IoDF co-founder and creative director Cat Taylor.
Participants would also learn about using 3D software entitled Clo3D and have access to IoDF ‘World’s First Non-Binary Working Asset Catty 8.1’.
Additionally, Central Saint Martins’ Master in Culture, Criticism and Curation students created an exhibition for the participants to give them the opportunity to show off their work created during the course.
